Each associate is an Independent Practitioner.
All the associates are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as Specialist Anaesthesiologists. We are also members of the South African Society of Anaesthesiologists.

After completing his studies at Stellenbosch university, dr De Villiers did a fellowship in paediatric anaesthesia in Edmonton Canada, returning to PE in 2005, where he’s practiced since.
He loves South Africa’s people and nature, and is an avid surfskiier and mountainbiker.

Dr Ian Nortje enjoys all aspects of anaesthesia and is regularly involved in a wide range of surgical disciplines, including orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery, urology and neurosurgery. He has a particular interest in cardiothoracic and paediatric anaesthesia.
Outside of his clinical practice he enjoys running, travelling, and spending time outdoors with his miniature schnauzers.

Dr Lynn-Hay Frewen is a warm energetic person who loves her job, the outdoors, and food. She enjoys the challenge of participating in a variety of surgical disciplines and strives to facilitate a stress and pain free peri-operative course for each patient.

Dr Reid studied Medicine at The University of Cape Town. He has been a full time anaesthesiologist since 1995. He specialized at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town and has broad interests in anaesthesia and ICU.

Dr Armogon considers it a privilege to participate in and guide patients through the significant and often frightening peri-operative period. She is interested in and regularly provides anaesthesia for a wide variety of surgical disciplines.
She is a keen paddler and runner and loves Gqeberha, its warm water and warmer people.
